When you choose to ship a car with us you are paired with a dedicated shipping coordinator to help you navigate the paperwork, scheduling and billing from start to finish. Your coordinator will help you understand your pickup, shipping and delivery options and will work with you to schedule load and delivery times.
Door to Door
Unless you specify otherwise, all our car shipping quotes are presumed to be door-to-door. This means whenever possible, our driver will pick up and deliver your vehicles at your residence, office or any other place you designate.
We only offer door-to-door auto transport service when it is permitted by local ordinances. Because many cities and municipalities restrict oversize vehicles (car carriers) from making deliveries in residential neighborhoods, your Dedicated Van Lines shipping coordinator will work with you to explore alternatives.
Our trucks can be up to 75 feet long, so drivers need lots of room to maneuver and turn around. When access to your residence is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps or tight turns, the driver may ask that you designate an alternative delivery site or a terminal pickup.
Terminal to Terminal
Many movers prefer auto shipping terminals because they allow for flexible drop-off and storage before and after transportation. Discuss your terminal to terminal car shipping options with your move coordinator when obtaining quotes to find out if a shipping terminal is convenient for you.
